I just posted a part two, trying to explain I know I have been part of the problem- I don't use every device and every platform so have not been aware of some issues that affect others.
But I do try. I had a hard look at my facebook friends list and asked myself why I was friends and why they were and often the answer was just because. I don't want to disrespect anyone by watching their lives play out in front of me if I'm not engaged with them and vice versa.
So I have very few friends compared to most people I know because it got so.. meaningless.
